I am just starting out in the field of AI voice agents and I am trying to figure out the right direction. I have the skills to find and contact CEOs, I am comfortable with cold calling and communicating with clients, and I also know how to build the voice agents technically.
However, I am struggling with one big question: which industry should I focus on first? For example, when I spoke with a salon owner, he told me that his receptionist is not only answering calls and booking appointments but also helping with small tasks inside the salon. This made me realize that offering an AI agent as a “replacement” does not always make sense to them.
So I want to ask for your advice: which industries do you think would benefit most from AI voice agents? And how can I approach business owners in a way that highlights the value of AI without making them feel like it conflicts with their current staff?
Your guidance would really help me in choosing the right path.
