What I learned is that most AI voice agents don’t fail at booking.
They fail at reschedule/cancel because they don’t know which appointment to touch.
Bad flow: “What time was your appointment?” (people don’t remember)
Good flow:
- “What phone number did you book with?”
- Pull appointment(s)
- If multiple, read options
- “Confirm: cancel Friday 11 AM?”
- Execute + send confirmation
