You replace most of the fat cells in your body every 8–10 years
but your body tends to replace them in the same places and in similar amounts unless your habits change. This is a huge reason why weight regain is so common after weight loss. When weight is lost fast without changing daily behaviors, the body isn’t “reset” — it’s just temporarily smaller. The fat cells shrink, but the program that created them stays intact. When old habits creep back in, the body simply refills what it already knows how to store. That’s why real success isn’t just about losing weight — it’s about teaching your body a new normal. New eating patterns. New movement habits. New responses to stress and boredom. Do that, and when the body rebuilds itself, it doesn’t rebuild the old version. Weight loss changes the size of the container. Habit change changes the blueprint.

Progress Isn’t Loud
Not every win shows up on the scale. Not every breakthrough makes noise. Some of the most important progress happens quietly — and that’s usually when people discount it. If you: Stopped spiraling after one bad meal Logged anyway instead of quitting Chose water instead of soda Walked even when motivation was gone Came back after a rough week That counts. A lot. Most people don’t fail because they’re incapable. They fail because they convince themselves that if progress isn’t dramatic, it isn’t real. That’s a lie. Consistency is boring. Discipline is quiet. Real change rarely feels exciting in the moment — it feels repetitive, inconvenient, and painfully normal. And that’s exactly why it works. You don’t need a perfect week. You need a return-to-center reflex when things wobble. Mess up → Reset → Keep moving. That’s the skill. That’s the game. You’re not behind. You’re building something that actually lasts. And yeah — that takes time. But it also takes courage. You’re still here. That says everything.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DON’T SHOW UP?
A LOT. Life pulls at all of us — work, kids, responsibilities, stress, chaos. You’re not a robot. I get it. Things happen. You can’t always make every meeting, every call, every check-in. But here’s the part I need you to hear with your whole heart: Even when you can’t show up… you can STILL reach out, ask questions, and get the gold you missed. Because what happens inside these calls? It’s not fluff. It’s not small talk. It’s not “catch you next week.” It’s real. It’s deep. It’s transformational. And if you’re not following up — if you’re not reading the recaps, asking what happened, or reconnecting afterward — you’re letting massive growth slip right past you. Let me give you an example: Tuesday morning’s coaching call Hands down, one of the most powerful sessions we’ve ever had. We talked about: Manifestation Creating your own reality Seeing yourself as the finished product And why so many people never let themselves believe they can get there I watched faces change. I watched minds crack open. I watched people confront things they’ve never admitted — even to themselves. It was life-altering. Not because of what I said… but because people showed up ready to think, to question, to confront their own limits. Wednesday night’s Q&A There were tears. There were stories people have carried for years — silently. One member reset her entire weight-loss journey right in front of us. A bold, brave, beautiful moment. And then we went deeper. We talked about the one thing someone has said to you in the past that left a scar — the thing that shaped how you see yourself. And instead of staying stuck in the hurt, we flipped it: How did that pain make you stronger? What did it force you to become? And suddenly, what was once a wound… became a weapon. That’s not something you can feel from a typed recap. You had to be in the room to feel the shift. So here’s my point: Missing a meeting isn’t the problem. Staying silent afterward is. If you can’t make it, reach out.

Feeling Hungry, Please Help
So, I need some help. I am always feeling hungry now. And my energy level has decreased. I think my sugar levels may have also been messed up. Last night I was sitting on the couch and could barely keep my head up, and when I turned my head, I had 'light lines'. I had a fun size snickers bar and was better. Today I had the same breakfast I have had for Tues and Wed. And now having the same lunch. I feel a bit groggy today. And I know come dinner time I am going to be VERY hungry. What do you have for suggestions that will make me feel full longer, help with the crash, and keep me in my Calorie deficit (1240)?
Anti-inflammatory foods
I have psoriasis and arthritis and trying to shift to anti-inflammatory foods. Anyone else here focusing on on similar eating and have suggestions and favorite foods to share? I am not a seafood eater, so fish isn't an option. I am adding some nuts and seeds into the mix.
