So I took my first Network+ full practice test last night. I failed! No surprise there, but I did do a lot better than I thought I did. I got 54% when I probably really only knew a few questions for sure. I do have a technical background and often I could rule out a couple of answers because I knew what they were and they didn't pertain to the question. This gave me 50% of choosing the right answer. There were times when I didn't recognize ANY of the acronyms in the answers which kind of made my heart jump. But then I relaxed and looked back at the question and looked at the key word or concept asked about and tried to match the first letter to the first or second letter in the acronym. Then at least I had half a chance. So, don't panic if you don't know the answer, just take another look in a different way. Then let it go and move on!! I am aiming for 85% with confidence, no guessing, before I take the real test. Lot's of work to do. I will definitely need those flashcards. Let's go!
