🚫 GitHub Mistakes Killing Your Chances 💻
I see this mistake all the time when people try to break into cybersecurity. They say they “know Python” or “understand Linux”… but have nothing to prove it. No projects. No code. No proof. And hiring managers don’t trust claims… they trust evidence. That’s where GitHub changes everything. I use GitHub to SHOW what I can do, not just say it. Even 2–3 simple scripts that solve real problems can separate me from 90% of applicants. It’s not about perfect code… it’s about proof of work. Most people skip this step… and that’s exactly why they stay stuck. Comment "GITHUB" and I’ll DM you my GitHub starter guide.

Net+ Passed
I passed my Net+ late last week. 😊 I already passed my Sec+ and AZ900 so now I'm in the boat of figuring out next steps. The AI practice questions here in this community helped a lot with understanding and applying concepts!
🧪 The Right Way to Homelab ✅🏠
I see people building huge homelabs and wondering why nothing changes 🚧 The problem isn’t the homelab, it’s how you’re using it ❌ A homelab is not meant to be permanent infrastructure 🖥️ It’s a temporary environment to solve one specific problem 🎯 If your homelab doesn’t end in screenshots, notes, and a write-up, it’s useless 📸 Recruiters don’t care what you built, they care what you learned and applied 🧠 The right homelab turns into a portfolio project, not a flex 💼 Most people never make that connection and stay stuck 🔒 I put together a simple guide that shows exactly how to do this the right way 📘 Comment "HOMELAB" and I’ll DM you the Homelab Execution Guide.

🔥 Why Most Cyber Portfolios Fail 🔥
I see tons of cybersecurity portfolios that look impressive but do absolutely nothing for hiring managers 😬. Most people treat a portfolio like a flex instead of proof of skill 💻. Listing tools and buzzwords without showing application is the fastest way to get ignored 🚫. Hiring managers don’t care what you say you know, they care what you can do ⚙️. A portfolio should show how you solve real problems, not how many tutorials you watched 📉. Screenshots, explanations, and decision-making matter more than polish 🧠. If your portfolio doesn’t clearly answer “why should I hire you,” it’s hurting you 📄. I break down exactly what to include and what to avoid in a simple framework 🛠️. Comment "PORTFOLIO" and I’ll DM you my Cyber Portfolio Blueprint.

Happy Birthday! 🥳🎂 I spent part of the day working on net+ study; I think this one may end up being harder for me than sec+ was. Wanted to get more in and some more project work as well, but the holiday season always throws curveballs. 😅
