I have 3 good arrows left from my original build last spring so im making one more to match a full quiver. Doing 5 more in a different pattern just to try something new but also because I will need more. I have 2 more matched dozens in this spine range that are quite a bit heavier than these so I am going to put the heaviest set aside for my super kodiak because its just too freakin fast anyway, and the other set im going to tail taper and try to tune it to my bow with a lighter head. Right now im using a 160g head, but since the other set are about 30 grains heavier already, I figure if I do a 8 or 9 inch tail taper, I can hopefully use a 125g head, and still have similar speed and FOC.
I've also decide to keep a record of all my designs and give them all names, I may start selling them one day so it seems like a good idea. This design is centered around big game. Its nice and heavy but simple and blends in. I call this one Apex. The colours are forest green, obsidian and silver morning. Its built on a premium grade Douglas fir shaft.
