Ever get stuck in a cycle

I'm not one to be very committed to building points in the western states, but it looks as though I probably should. Every year I tell myself I'm going somewhere west of the Nebraska panhandle come September, and every year I end up staying in Nebraska. I plan very poorly, and then in the summer life hands us several new expenses we've anticipated for which leaves my trips on the back burner with no flame. I'd hoped to put in for the secondary draw in Colorado, but I missed that chance. Maybe I'll luck out and catch a leftover tag yet someplace. But, I for sure will be planning better for next year.
