Review and SOTD - Kenzo Homme Indigo
Testing out a new to me sample that just came in yesterday. We hit 80 degrees today, but I wore it to work so most of the wear was indoors.
Indigo was released in 2025. It’s a woody aquatic, created by Quentin Bisch. It's inspired by Japanese indigo dyeing, blending fresh marine with iris and leather.
The opening is fresh, clean sea notes with a marine accord. The heart brings iris that adds a soft touch of sophistication. In the base there is leather, sandalwood, and Akigalawood. Its brings subtle warmth, smoothness, and a touch of woody/smoky depth without being heavy.
Overall It's clean, refined, and versatile. It’s non-aggressive, office friendly, and calming. It has moderate projection for the first few hours and solid longevity at 8+ hours. It’s a fresh, slightly mature everyday aquatic. If you like aquatics I highly recommend trying this one out.
