Question for the four fellow collectors
Looking for restrained fragrance suggestions
Lately I’ve been realizing my collection is stacked with bold, sweet, boozy, and statement scents. Love them, but I’m looking to balance things out.
I’m specifically curious about restrained fragrances. The kind that feel:
- quiet but confident
- refined, not loud
- non-gourmand
- more about mood and presence than projection
Think scents you wear for yourself, not compliments.
For example: Gentle fluidity silver by MFK, Reflection Man by Amouage, Gris Charnel, Babycat YSL, Sacred Wood by Kilian, Jazz club by replica.
If you’ve got any favorites in that lane, I’d love to hear them and why you reach for them. Niche, designer, older releases, modern takes, all fair game.
