They Want Help, But Already Have Answers...
As you all know, we are in a challenging time when it comes to health care and our ability to look things up online, and then there's AI... In my experience as a practitioner, "most" people have already made up their mind before they even arrive to an appointment. They have either looked it up online, used AI to save their life, or are skeptical of any practitioner they visit. I do not want to work with people like this at all. I've been burnt out on health care for years and I'm seeking a CTE Health instructor teaching position in local high schools. I live in a very very small community and with the failing economy it doesn't offer me a real paycheck. Fortunately, I have had for many years a strong interest in teaching. My plan is to land a job teaching and to do some online visits as well. We are in a time where people want something different, better, however you want to call it. But, so many either aren't ready or don't want to try something different when it comes to their health. Even when that is what they say they want, something different. I understand very well that budgets are tight, the insurance industry has conditioned the masses to only obtain "healthcare" from clinics/hospitals that accept their insurance plan. For 10+ years I've been successful at 98+ chiropractic and 2% functional medicine. Oh, I'm also in the great state of California. Insurance plans don't seem to pay for anything anymore, I've stayed away from insurance because it's a very biased and controlling system. So with this back story, how do you all deal with people that want care, but seem to have already made up their mind. My patience is running very thin. Thank you all! Noah

genetics
Hi I sent Chrissy an email asking 'what in the world is going on with the genetic boxes?" She wasn't aware of the issues so asked for screen shots. I sent them which is from different clients and different pathways. She said she sent to the tech team and they are working on it. So we shall see!
I'm behind.....
Hey all, I'm behind in uploading recordings. I'll will get them posted by the end of the day today. I apologize for the delay. If you ever need something right away, let me know and I can give you the direct Vimeo link.
OAT (mosaic) and OAp(Diagnostic labs) comparison
I"m noticng the OAp not only has several additional markers then Mosaic, there are some markers that are not the same metabolites. Here's just 1 example: Mosaic uses uracil and thymine as indication of folate metabolism Yet DL uses figglu acid. Biotin has a different metabolite. Here's another: mosaic uses 2 hydroxybutyric. DL uses a-hydroxybutyric. After looking this up, they are the same markers. So it seems like perhaps some are the same markers but called differently and others are not? We probably could use more discussion on this.
4 Labs Deep Dive
Hey all, I've reposted our original 4 week opening series that Emily did. It's really a brilliant bit of teaching and I recommend you go back and have a listen or watch. I've included transcripts and key take-aways to make it easier to take notes. Such great material presented in such a compelling manner. @Noah Perlman you probably just watched this on our other platform, so it's not new material. Just the wrapping is a bit new. :) @Erin Prokop If you haven't watched this yet, you might want to.
