Hey Society, I just received confirmation that my Smart Ring is on the way..... I will have the opportunity to try it out before it is made available for sale in the US later this summer. I'm excited to see how it compares to more established smart cooking controllers like Spider Grills' Venom controller and I will share my observations with y'all. Weber recently recalled 3.2 million metal wire bristle brushes because ingesting the small bristles can result in serious internal injury that can result in surgery. This seems like a pretty great, much cheaper fire starting alternative to the Fogo blazeaball. If I didn’t already have a blazeaball I’d get this.

Hey folks! I’m seriously considering getting the Spider Grills Venom accessory for my Weber kettle and wondered if anyone has any experience with it or has heard any negative feedback. There is some information on YouTube and it seems to get good reviews. Would love to hear what you folks from the Backyard Smokemaster Society have to say. Thanks
