Whatās one thing you wish youād known before publishing your first childrenās book?
Iām deep in the trenches right nowāwriting, revising, overthinking page turns, and realizing that kidlit isnāt āeasyāā¦ itās precise. Every word has a job. Every illustration cue matters. No fluff allowed.
Iām here because I genuinely want to grow alongside other authors, not just lurk quietly. I believe the fastest growth in kidlit happens when we:
- Share real lessons (not just highlight reels)
- Talk honestly about what didnāt work
- Support each other like colleagues, not competitors
