Always good video! I listen to them all the time on repeat as if I have never heard them! Many times I have to write down notes because I listen and say ok - I do not do this... I do not do that... Haha - But I NEED to and SHOULD!

What’s your biggest struggle?
I’m curious, what would you say has been your biggest struggle when it comes to children children’s book publishing? And have you overcome it yet? I know all of our strengths and weaknesses are different, so I’m curious to see what your response will be 👀

My biggest struggle has honestly been the business side of children’s book publishing — figuring out printing costs, pricing, inventory, and how to make it all sustainable while still keeping my books affordable for families. The creative part comes naturally to me. Writing meaningful stories, connecting with families, and seeing kids enjoy the books is the easy and joyful part. But learning how to balance quality, cost, marketing, and long-term growth has been a learning curve — especially as a teacher and mom building this alongside family life. Have I overcome it yet? I’d say I’m still learning, but I’m far more confident than when I started. Each book, each event, and each conversation teaches me something new. Progress over perfection has really become my mindset.
