Farmers Markets

Hi everyone!

I did my first farmers market this past Sunday. I thought it was a success even though I didn't sell very many books. I had a bundle sale of my book series and gave away one free book with that bundle. I also sold two separate books. However, what is really valuable is the 12 emails I got. I told them I am drawing 3 names to give one free signed book of their choice. Plus, I received an invite to a Family Literacy Event this month at an elementary school! So, I think it pays to talk to people in person telling why I wrote the books. Two people signed my email list but didn't buy but they asked if I will be there the next week. I will definitely be doing more of these.
