Rootbound Scoring Contest
Hey everyone! We’re launching the Rootbound Trailer Scoring Competition—a great chance to score a real game trailer for an upcoming indie title. Brainlag Games is a newly founded studio with former Piranha Bytes members mostly known for Risen and Gothic.
Rootbound is a pixel-art fantasy adventure with action, puzzles and exploration parts. The developers have been kind enough to share their trailer with us, giving composers the opportunity to bring it to life with original music. There is a lot of room for playing around with different moods and music styles. If you like you can also add your own sound effects to the trailer.
Prizes are sponsored by Fluffy Audio, with the grand prize being their stunning Echoes of the Earth library—an incredible tool for composers looking to expand their sound.
