Need a hand up.

Hello my name is Lauren Neeley. I am 47 years old. I am from Peoria, Illinois. I have multiple songs I have written that I need guidance on to create melodies, what to use to do it, and how to protect my creations, and gain financial gain from them. If anyone would like to help me I would greatly appreciate it. I’m literally a green horn, but have written many songs.
