A little reflection.
Hi everyone,
I've been working in the game industry for over 10 years now.
I think it's important for me, as a senior composer, to share with those who are just getting started. I can't go into details, as there are a lot of NDAs and sensitive information involved. And I don't want to scare you or anything like that, felt like I wanted to take it off my chest.
Well, if you ever get involved with those big game corporations, be ready for them to try to invite you to work side-by-side with AI, or even put it as part of the terms in your contracts. They'll frame it as “efficiency” and “productivity.”
But what if their purpose is to gradually get rid of us when AI properly studies our creative work, approaches, tricks, and learns to apply them? Then it can make tons of quality content quickly, and almost for free. 🤔
Don't allow any client to dictate your ways of working. It's your integrity, your skills, and your talent.
Cheers 💖
