Looking for Insights on Outbound Call Performance
Hey everyone, I’d really appreciate some guidance.
Over the past 30 days, my AI assistant made around 850 outbound calls. Out of all those calls, only three resulted in actual conversations where the contact picked up and engaged. The rest were either voicemails (about 80%) or no answers/failed dials (about 20%).
I know most of these were cold leads, so I expected lower conversion, but I assumed at least 20-30% would pick up. Clearly, I was way off.
Here’s what I’m trying to understand:
How are some of you generating strong revenue numbers with outbound calling?
Are you seeing better answer rates? Are your leads warmer? Is there a specific strategy or setup that improves pickup and engagement?
If you’re open to sharing your stats or what’s been working for you, I’d be extremely grateful.
I’d like to learn more so I can better position and explain outbound calling strategies to my clients.
