Conversation Stuck on "Reading your message..."

For some reason my bot my bot does not respond the first time around it receives some messages.

The user needs to send another message so that the AI gets un-stuck.

Is this a "me" problem? does anyone else have this issue? Is there someone working to fix this problem?
