If you’re having trouble with a platform, don’t hesitate to try something different…
Buildship is great. Lots of really smart people in here use it and swear by it.
If you saw some of my comments yesterday, you know I was really frustrated with it. Spent almost 2 days trying to get some stuff working in there and never really succeeding. Spending hours when apparently I just needed to put empty {} in the body and stuff like that.
Switched to n8n and have it working and fully dynamic. Next step for me is to have just 1 calendar related flow in n8n that handles finding open slots, booking, confirming appointments, etc. Then all my subaccounts can use 1 webhook and workflow for everything calendar related.
I say all of this to say, if Make is your jam, use Make. If it’s Buildship, use Buildship. Yes, when it comes to setting any of these up, they’re all precise and small things can cause errors (I spent hours troubleshooting only to realize GHL needed milliseconds 🤷♂️).
Personally, I’ve just found identifying the issues and fixing to be much easier in n8n. You may find Buildship to be easier for you.
If one of the platforms just isn’t clicking for you, don’t be afraid to explore other options. You know which platform is the best? The one you’re able to put in production.
