Tea Time Tuesday: Golden Summer Ease Tea Blend ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿซ–
Good morning, tea friends.
Todayโ€™s ๐™๐™š๐™– ๐™๐™ž๐™ข๐™š ๐™๐™ช๐™š๐™จ๐™™๐™–๐™ฎ blend is a little different from the last few blends.
This one feels soft, golden, and comforting โ€” the kind of tea you reach for when your body is tired, your mind feels full, and you just need a gentle moment to come back to yourself.
This weekโ€™s blend is:
A gentle tea for soft evenings, tired bodies, and easing back into yourself.
After the last couple of weeks, this feels like the kind of tea I need.
Between helping with my daughter and grandbaby being sick, dealing with my shoulder hurting so badly that simple things have felt hard, and still trying to show up for my community and my own wellness, I keep being reminded that care does not have to be complicated.
Sometimes care looks like one warm cup of tea. One quiet breath. One page in a journal. One moment where you stop pushing and ask, โ€œWhat do I need right now?
๐ŸŒผ Chamomile โ€” 1 part Traditionally used for calming support, rest, and gentle relaxation.
๐ŸŒพ Oatstraw โ€” 1 part A nourishing herb traditionally used to support the nervous system and help the body feel replenished.
๐Ÿ‹ Lemon peel โ€” ยฝ part Bright, citrusy, uplifting, and adds a light summer flavor.
๐ŸŒฟ Cinnamon chips โ€” ยผ part Warming, cozy, and traditionally used to support digestion and circulation.
๐Ÿค Vanilla โ€” tiny pinch or a drop of food-grade vanilla extract, optional Soft, comforting, and gives the blend a cozy sweetness.
Add 1โ€“2 teaspoons of the blend to a cup. Pour hot water over the herbs. Cover and steep for 8โ€“10 minutes. Strain and sip slowly.
This is a lovely tea for late afternoon, after dinner, or anytime you need a softer reset.
Before you sip, ask yourself:
Maybe your body needs ease. Maybe your schedule needs ease. Maybe your mind needs ease. Maybe your expectations of yourself need ease.
The ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ฒ and ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฎ ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ฒ for this blend is attached so you can make the tea and learn more about each herb.
Then tonight, weโ€™ll use the reflection page to check in with what our bodies, minds, and hearts are asking for.
This is for educational purposes only. Herbs can be supportive, but they are not one-size-fits-all. Please check with a qualified healthcare professional if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, managing a medical condition, or unsure whether an herb is right for you. Chamomile may not be appropriate for those with ragweed allergies or certain medication interactions. Cinnamon may need caution for those managing blood sugar or taking blood-thinning medications. Oatstraw may not be appropriate for everyone with gluten sensitivity unless sourced gluten-free.
Where do you need more ease today โ€” your body, your mind, your schedule, or your expectations?
Small steps lead to big transformations.
