Clarity - What and Why

Why don’t we just gather 4 of the fastest pace marathon runners and put them on the track to win all the relay races for a new team?

Marathons:

Are long distance

Have no lanes

Are not a team sport

Are trained for endurance

Don’t include carrying an object

You laugh, but it’s the exact reason we need clarity about what a relay race is and why we do it this way.

This is true about clarity in marriage, parenting, friendships, and business.

Imagine without clarity that this race begins. Just as the first runner is 2 seconds from runner #2 he unzips his fanny pack and puts the baton inside while he takes out a water bottle. No one gave him clear instruction. I bet there was no training. And surely he wasn’t even paying attention to notice that others set up as teams and he wasn’t in the right place.

Clarity is everyone’s responsibility. Next time you get instruction - get clarity around it so you can win!
