Choose Hard
Happy Father’s Day gentlemen! This year I choose hard! Participating and completing my first half marathon. Longest run to date. Didn’t think this was something I would do or continue to do. I have every reason not to run between injuries during training and many others in the past. But I found another version of suffering and pushing through it I found another version of myself. I am not saying that you should do what I did, but to find something that pushes you past your limits. Pushes you past what you thought you were capable of. With that I hope you find the man you are looking for. Andy Glaze says “this is your daily reminder to do hard things” he has been a big inspiration to me as he is a fire fighter/paramedic fighting PTSD, with a troubled childhood and adulthood. But also someone who continued to push back when things got hard. So choose hard my brothers. Keep fighting. You got this.
Let’s Connect Outside the Community
This community has grown because guys here are willing to show up honestly. The conversations, the support, the stories. It’s been powerful to watch. If you’re comfortable with it, drop your social media handles in the comments. Instagram, LinkedIn, whatever you’re using. A lot of the guys here are building things, sharing their journey, or just trying to surround themselves with better people online. No pressure if social media isn’t your thing. But if you are on there, this is a good way for us to support each other outside the walls of this community. Let’s build some stronger connections. 👊

Cold Plunge
I had a bit of trouble making a video. My software wasnt allowing me to load large files. Finally realized that pushing each piece into an iphone gallery collection allows the phone to mock up a slideshow from that collection and makes it shareable as an mp4 file. That worked great! It clipped some out of each video piece so there’s not much time showing in the water.

Ohhh loving what I’m seeing here gentlemen! @Kevin Hatch to save yourself on ice I will fill milk jugs with water and freeze them. Let them sit in the tub for a couple hours prior to plunging or even over night. That should help get your temp down a little more. I’m in Manitoba so cold water is in abundance lol. 100 gallon tub in the non heated but insulated garage has maintained 45-35 degrees since November. But have to plunge everyday otherwise it freezes solid in a day or 2 depending on outside temperature. Like the end of January into February, 6-10 inches of ice every morning or even freezing solid once mid February. Missed a come days in the tub but subbed it out for extended cold showers. If you got snow available shovel some into the tub that drops them temp pretty quickly
Built for the Storm is LIVE !
Boys, it’s live. Built for the Storm is officially in the Classroom. I poured everything into this. Not motivation. Not fluff. Real tools. Real habits. Real mindset shifts for men who want more out of their life. If you’ve been feeling stuck, lost, overwhelmed, or like you’re just going through the motions…this is for you. I made this to help the men who show up here. The guys who actually want to build something inside themselves. The guys who aren’t afraid to look in the mirror and start taking ownership. Do me one favour. If this guide hits you, share the community with a friend. A brother. A coworker. Someone who needs it. We grow stronger together, and we grow this community one man at a time. Grab the guide in the Classroom. Dive in. Put the work in. And let’s keep building. Stay anchored.

Proud of you brother 🖤 this is big! Celebrate it
Built for the Storm drops Wednesday morning.
I’ve been sitting with this all weekend, trying to figure out the best way to share it, and honestly…I’m just excited. This guide isn’t perfect. It’s not some polished “10-step blueprint.” It’s not meant to live on someone’s desktop collecting dust. It’s meant to wake a man up. To give him a place to start when everything feels heavy and unclear. It’s simple on purpose. It’s a jump start. A shove in the right direction. A reminder that you don’t need to have everything figured out before you take the first step. The real work happens here in this community, with the conversations we’re having and the accountability we’re building. And I want the men in this room to be the first ones to get it. Wednesday morning, it’s yours. You’ll find it inside the Classroom section here on Skool. A couple things I want to be clear about: • Please don’t share the PDF publicly.I made this for us, for the men who are actually doing the work. I’m trusting that it stays here. • If you know a guy who needs this, a coworker, a friend, your brother, invite him into the community. He’ll get the guide for free just by being here. No pressure. Just an honest nudge. “Hey man, this group has helped me. Thought of you.” You never know what that simple message might do for someone. I’m proud of this guide. I’m proud of what we’ve been building. And I’m proud of you guys for showing up the way you do. Wednesday we take another step forward. Stay anchored.
