This is good news if you run your nonprofit on the google suite.
Google introduced Gemini 3 on November 18, which it says is the best to date. Gemini 3 Pro is already available inside Workspace, including for organizations using the free Workspace for Nonprofits plan.
Here’s what’s new.
Gemini 3 is going to work closer to it's best competitors like ChatGPT and Claude. It can review complex grant guidelines, summarize long board packets, and interpret mixed formats with more clarity than previous versions. Google says the model now gives responses that are smart, concise, and direct, reducing filler and focusing on insight.
Here’s why it matters.
It's now free for most nonprofits. This means your team can analyze documents, create marekting, or prepare reports with far less time spent switching tools.
If you want to try it out, open the Gemini app inside Workspace and select “Thinking” from the model menu to run Gemini 3 Pro. Google noted that a deeper reasoning mode will be added soon for organizations on paid tiers.
