3 Steps to Build a Custom GPT That Actually Works
Most custom GPTs are useless because people skip the setup. Here's how to make one that's actually helpful: 1. Start with ONE specific task. Not "help me with marketing." Try "write LinkedIn hooks for financial advisors." The narrower, the better. 2. Feed it examples of what GOOD looks like. Copy paste 5-10 real outputs you've liked. This is the cheat code most people skip. 3. Add constraints. Tell it what NOT to do. "Never use buzzwords. Never start with 'In today's fast-paced world.' Keep it under 100 words." That's it. Took me 10 minutes to build one that writes better hooks than I do. What's a task you keep doing manually that a custom GPT could handle? Drop it below.

How I use AI to cut my meeting prep time in half (the exact prompt stack)
Most people spend way too long prepping for meetings. Googling the person, scrolling LinkedIn, trying to figure out what to say. Here is a faster way. Tool: Claude + Perplexity combo Step 1: Google the person or company in Perplexity. Ask "What does [Company] do and what challenges is the [industry] facing right now?" Takes 60 seconds. Step 2: Paste the output into Claude with this prompt: "I have a meeting with [Name] from [Company]. Based on this context, give me: (1) 3 smart discovery questions, (2) 2 things to NOT bring up, (3) one thing I can say that will make them feel understood." Step 3: Add one more prompt: "What objection am I most likely to face and how do I handle it?" Step 4: Save it in a note. Walk in. Total time: under 10 minutes. You show up knowing things about their business they didn't expect you to know. I have done this before advisor meetings, partnership calls, investor conversations. It works every time. The goal is not to sound smart. The goal is to make them feel heard before you even start talking. What is your current prep process? Drop it below.

Claude Projects is the most underrated feature nobody uses
Most people use Claude like a search engine. Open, type, forget. Claude Projects changes that completely. Here's how to set one up in 5 minutes: Step 1: Create a Project in Claude. Name it something specific like "Client Work" or "Content Creation." Step 2: Add a custom instruction at the top. Mine says: "I'm a financial advisor. My audience is high-earning professionals. Be direct, no fluff." Step 3: Upload your key documents. Pricing sheets, past proposals, brand guidelines. Claude reads them before every response. Step 4: Every conversation in that project keeps the context. No more re-explaining who you are every single time. Result: You stop wasting 2 minutes on setup and jump straight to output. I run 4 projects right now: Content, Client Prep, Business Strategy, and Research. Each has custom instructions and uploaded docs tailored to that work. The difference is using Claude as a calculator vs. using it as a trained assistant who already knows your business. Have you set up Projects yet? If so, what's the first project you built?

Prep for any sales call in 10 minutes (the exact AI workflow I use)
Going into any calls next week? Most people wing it or spend an hour googling. This cuts it to 10 minutes. Step 1: Go to Perplexity. Search "[Person name] + [Company]". Get a fast overview in 60 seconds. Step 2: Paste that summary into Claude with this prompt: "I have a call with someone at [company]. What are 5 discovery questions I should ask based on what they do?" Step 3: Ask Claude: "What are the top 3 pain points someone in this role probably has right now?" Step 4: Save it. Walk into the call knowing more than they expect you to. Total time: under 10 minutes. The prospect feels like you did hours of research. Your close rate goes up because you're asking the right questions instead of guessing. I've used this before calls with lawyers, founders, operators. Works every time. What's one thing you do to prep before a big call? Drop it below.
