AI Automations vs AI Agents
I saw this picture yesterday and thought it was super relevant with the news surrounding AI Agents 😂
Most people still don’t know the difference between an AI Automation and an AI Agent.
📈 Automations run predefined tasks.
🤖 Agents make decisions and adapt as they go.
But most will chase the shiny “Agents” instead of building boring Automations that are actually reliable, ensure quality, and move the needle.
Agentic technology is getting better by the day, but as of right now there is WAY more hype than practicality.
If you've never built an Automation, AI Agents are the last thing you should be thinking about.
