Has been more than 100 days since I started learning n8n, and I think it's finally time to get my first set of clients. How do we do that? Multiple ways... Here's what I'm doing to get my first 5 clients in the next month: 1. Found out what I have to sell. I think this was the hardest part, choosing between receptionist, lead gen system and 100 different automations you can sell. Finally chose one that I think is valuable enough (ad generation system) 2. Selected my method of lead generation Multiple ways to get leads, I'm going with warm and cold outreach as of now, crazy simple to get started, as I can send 30 dms. First, I'm trying with cold pitches (people who don't know me), and if it doesn't work by mid feb, I'll tap into my warm network. 3. Get leads As I'm reaching out to advertisers, what better way is there to find advertisers than the Meta Ad Library? So, I built a scraper that can scrape leads for me from the ad library, and I'm gonna send 30 emails from tomorrow on a daily basis. (tested the copy with 20, got 2 interested leads already) 4. Working for free I'm right now selling a free offer, as it's so easy to sell and deliver, and once I'm in their system and they have got a taste, I can upsell them to other systems I can create later. But first, I need to learn the craft of delivering, so I'm basically gonna give everything for free and get data, build relationships and try to get referrals. That's my plan, at least. Day 2 of building Vera, my AI personal assistant. Today’s capability: creating and sending invoices. With a simple instruction, Vera: - Creates an invoice in Xero - Pulls client details automatically - Sends the invoice via email - Records the action in the workflow The same setup can also work with QuickBooks, depending on the finance stack. Everything is orchestrated in Make.com, with Telegram as the front end (Slack-compatible), designed to remove manual finance admin rather than add another tool.
