Today felt like a milestone worth sharing here.
https://www.haki.legal/ is live. yesterday we started testing with the actual platform itself It's just a website but for the team in Kampala, it's months of work finally having an address. A place you can point people to. A signal that this is real. We're not at launch yet. The platform itself is in active testing internally with the team, and with the first stakeholders we've brought in to use it the way it's meant to be used. That's where the real lessons come from. A few things I'm sitting with today: β†’ Shipping the website is the easy part. Shipping the right product is the work. β†’ Stakeholder feedback in week 7 is worth 10x stakeholder feedback in week 19. β†’ The team has been heads-down for weeks. Days like today matter. If you're curious what we're building, take a look: https://www.haki.legal/ Happy to answer questions in the comments. πŸ™

This sounds like a BIG deal, I hope you had a mini celebration πŸŽ‰
The question I ask before starting any new project
Before I write a line of code or spend a penny I ask one question. Is there evidence people are already paying to solve this problem? Not β€œwould people want this.” Not β€œdoes this sound good.” Evidence. Real people. Real money already changing hands. AI has made it faster than ever to validate an idea before you build it. Reddit threads, reviews, forums. You can map a market in an afternoon now. What’s the first thing you do when a new idea hits you? Do you build first or validate first?

@Geoff Bosley Yep and half baked, will lead to multiple opportunities for fully baked solutions thereafter. The internet used to be the wild west too. Look at it now...

Cape Town AI Mastermind: Behind the Scenes
In February, I spent a week in Cape Town, SA with some of the top AI entrepreneurs in the space for a mastermind. We had hundreds of community members join us. I met some amazing people and left feeling so energized and inspired. Which is why I've been uploading almost daily lately, haha! Anyways, just dropped a behind the scenes vlog if you're interested in checking it out. AIS is planning on doing big events and meetups regularly, so if this trip looked like fun, stay tuned for events in the future!

@Nate Herk Will you be revisiting the African continent again any time soon?
learning path
hi, I wonder or the challenge is the place to start for a newbie or better do some basic tutorials first?

@Meheraz Hossain I'm with you on that. Build as much as you can, fail as much as you can. Somewhere in between the two, is where the learning takes place. But I emphasise have a clear outcome in mind else it'll be a loooooooong tiresome road.
