I'm 50. The actual start was earlier than most people guess — at 14 I wore a heavy VR rig at an early VR researcher's home in Southern California, rudimentary 3D environment that made me sick when I took it off. Hooked since. Built my first computer in 1998. Twenty-six years across B2B and B2C — eight in enterprise B2B (early-2000s PDM and engineering data management for AutoDesk Inventor shops at JPL and aerospace/defense labs — when Inventor was fighting SolidWorks and Pro/E, before Vault existed), the rest B2C in-home consultations, the long work of building trust with strangers across a living room table. Through all of it I've been in the people business. A year ago the AI thread pulled hard enough that I started building. The build tab tells that side. Happy to go deep on retrieval, agent memory, or the harder question underneath all of it — what an AI system is actually for. still composting… — RJ
