The Fastest Way to Move Your n8n Workflows to a New Instance

I just recorded a quick tutorial on how to transfer all your n8n workflows from one instance to another. This is useful if you are moving from n8n Cloud to a self hosted setup or the other way around.

The process is way easier than most people expect. Instead of downloading every workflow manually, n8n actually gives you tools to grab them all at once and recreate them in a new instance.

In the video I walk through:

1. How to use the “get many workflows” node to fetch every workflow from your current instance.

2. How to create API credentials for both environments.

3. How to use the “create a workflow” node to rebuild each workflow in the destination.

4. How to loop through everything safely so nothing crashes mid transfer.

5. What to expect after importing and how to reorganize everything once it is done.
