🚀 Antigravity: Google’s move to reinvent how we build with AI

I’ve been playing with 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆, Google’s new IDE, and wow… this is not “just another editor.”

You can feel it’s built from scratch with AI as the main character, not a plugin.

It’s available from day one on macOS, Windows and Linux, completely free during the beta, and tied to your Google account.

Pretty clear sign that later they’ll merge limits/pricing with Gemini plans — so now is the moment to use it without fear.

The best part: you get 𝗚𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝟯 𝗣𝗿𝗼, 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘁 𝟰.𝟱, and a GPT-compatible model.

Supercharged autocomplete, unlimited commands, and this weirdly smooth workflow where the IDE feels like it has your back the whole time.

🧪 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱: 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀

This one is wild. Antigravity includes a “Playground” — basically a lab — where you just explain what you want to build and it generates a step-by-step plan.

The agent does everything:
sets up the structure
installs dependencies
generates code
documents the process
and lets you review & tweak every step

And yes, you can have multiple agents working in parallel.

One creates a new project, another improves a landing page, another fixes bugs, all neatly tracked in the Agent Manager.

👉 It flips the old dynamic of “I code and AI helps me.”

Now it’s “AI builds and you steer the project.”

👨‍🍳 𝗔 “𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗳” 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗯𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗻𝟴𝗻

In the demo, they build a recipe app with a “Chef” chatbot and connect it to 𝗻𝟴𝗻 via a webhook.

The flow is simple:

Antigravity → POST → n8n webhook → AI processes → response goes back → shown in the chat.

Done.

Inside n8n you configure:
the user message
the system message (the chef’s instructions)
memory
and a Respond to Webhook node to send the answer back

👉 With just a few nodes, Antigravity + n8n turns a text box into a fully functioning recipe chatbot.

📚 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗲 𝗥𝗔𝗚 + 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘀𝗲𝗿

To avoid the Chef “hallucinating” dishes like a sleep-deprived contestant on MasterChef, they set up a small 𝗥𝗔𝗚 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 using n8n + Google Drive + Supabase.

Every time you upload a recipe PDF to Drive → n8n detects it → extracts the content → stores it as embeddings in Supabase → ready for real semantic search.

From there, the agent can answer prompts like:

And the part that blew my mind: 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗮𝗽𝗽.

It types, clicks, reads the DOM, validates flows… basically a QA tester living inside your editor.
