Friday I was able to present my automation software to a room of 60 buyers.
This started from having a conversation with a customer about their current struggle with their processes.
After he walked us through what he wanted, I built it using Claude/claude code. Went back for review after the MVP was built for additional guidance/feedback.
I talked to many others in his same position (same title, different org) and it was clear that this was a product for others in his shoes.
I was able to land a presentation with the member base of his industry for my area and present at large to a whole group of my target buyers.
From this presentation alone, expecting 100k+ ARR with 90% margins on the product.
Key lesson - I sold before I built and while I built. This product came from actual customer conversations. During the development process I was selling the concept to others in his shoes to get buy in/validation.
