He grew up with a great example of empathy...
His Father an attorney who reared him in Beacon Hill..

Listening to the injustices happening to our Ancestors in America...
His Father told him, freeing those enslaved without out equality is another form of injustice.
Believed with every fiber of his being...
Every person, given the opportunity can improve themselves...
Taught him, Moral law was important for government...
He knew enslavement and segregation were evil...

Charles Sumner gave with heart, soul and body, as an Abolitionist.
He ministry and mission started early in life...
Shaped by his travels as he witness Black greatness in other nations.…
Concluded after witnessing 3 Black men giving lectures and speeches...
The difference between these Men and Black Americans was access to education...
Returned to America knowing equality, education and the power of the vote must obtained for his melinated Brothers...

Knew that our Ancestors were not property or animals...
