We talked about, have conversations around our Children. Unfortunately, we aren't talking or listening to our little ones. Yet, even the Bible extols... A little child shall lead them... Many of us have been groomed indoctrinated into fear... Fear of bright, smart kids... Yet, they see our dysfunction.. Know how to push adult buttons, but this is our disregulation.. In Care of Young Minds We have to create a new learning model... Teachers need the full support of Admin, Parents and the community The advancement of our world hangs in the balance. If we don't balance our actions , how may we build a better world??! Otherwise, we all capitulate, to the current models that aren't working. Imagine how we could free ourselves... Unburden our society from walking trauma bombs.. We should all practice being kids sometimes. Frolic, play, question and have fun just because... A return to good mental health... Conversations, stirring the pot to reveal unspoken events... Discomfort....minds shutting down... Emotions run high under the evaluations... Cultural, Gender, Intellectual differences, causing anger to overflow... Accountability vs Revenge May I tell you all some triggering life experiences. A young Black Man I attempted to guide... On this journey called life.. Young Gun on a hustle walking with a rake on his right shoulder. Fall leaves to be captured and bagged. Intrigued, I inquired if perhaps, he was looking for work... Yes Ma'am searching to have opportunities for employment... Took him to my home and the work ethic was superb... This was the start of a work mentorship. Maybe an opportunity to uplift. One more Black man saved, was my thought. Didn't consider the other factors... Because of the trauma that gave him life.. Didn't possess all the tools.. Which helps make sound decisions when choosing a mate... Tragically, his Mother was sexually assaulted by his grandfather... This was a unwitting curse upon his head. To be reared as a child who was despised... PTSD carried, because he resembled a rapist... I learned this after the horrible event... He met a Sister with five children... Showed him what he thought was love... Asked me, about having a relationship with this Woman... I was direct...sprayed him with facts... This Sister has an agenda... She is seeking marriage... A partnership in support of her children, a Daddy... Cautioned and questioned whether he was ready for commitment.... Told him, to continue to get himself together, don't move into this situation... Definitely, refrain from physical intimacy... Did he heed my warnings as a Woman and community Auntie??!?..., of course not!!! Moved in, had been there a year and on that anniversary... She woke up expecting a proposal... Thinking he had been playing husband and daddy.. The ring was hidden...maybe.. He didn't acknowledge the year passing... She was direct and asked him... Do you realize it's our one year anniversary?

In The Care of Children or our Inner Child.. We have to remember to laugh a lot... Be authentic, with little ones, young folks and teenagers. They can see through the fakeness.. With all the seemingly dark times... Many folks are overwhelmed with dour emotions... I am an optimists, always looking for the best in myself and others... My life revolves around service as GOD as mandated.. I find, this attitude, assist my mental health by living... Living towards the greater good uplifting humanity... Life can be a mire of regrets... It also a decision to be better and find greatness.... As a Instructor/Teacher my mission, is to make our Children see the best in themselves. This part is an honor to be able to mold the minds of our most vulnerable... I volunteer, my time, talents and monies, to share... Encouraging others to donate to my charities... In a world of Darkness, we are the lights... Our lives the beacons to guide others on the journey... We never know how our actions, conversations leave imprints... Allowing us to make a valid difference in how this world turns... We have the ability to choose compassion and empathy... Did you know men believe in fairy tales That our hearts yearn for a happily ever after to come true For me it started as a little boy dreaming the dreams that little boys do Where I envisioned myself as a hero coming to my woman's rescue And those dreams are where my issues ensue Delusions of wanting to be your knight in shining armor Unaware that was my problem Cause in my head I made you out to be a damsel in distress Wandering around lost and helpless Instead of a partner I wanted to spend the rest of my life with I was senseless to what relationships are actually built with Oblivious that reality doesn't coincide with fiction and because of that I failed before we ever started the quest For growth and development that was probably for the best A lesson I'd love to object or even forget cause all that's left is the regret I now live with The pain, the shame, the wondering what ifs The learning that happily ever after isn't where the story ends The fairy tales I grew up watching as a kid never showed me how to handle this And because of that I started to question fairy tales a bit No one told me how to move once the story hits a rift Let alone how to shift once it no longer exist So, tell me how do you live when the fairytale ends "Griot of the 13 Court Guards" - BANKAI 🫰🏾🫰🏾 An'twion Shamar
