Google recently scrapped the Q&A section, and that means you can't rely on random questions or answers showing up for customers—so if Google's AI doesn't get your info right, you risk losing leads before you even get a shot. Vicinity is still a thing. Look, Google cares a LOT more about how close you are to someone searching—and if you're even a little too far, you basically get ignored. So if you're wondering why local leads went quiet, that's a big reason why. Now for something new: If you've been posting on social media, Google's now actually showing those posts on your Profile, which means, if you're sharing offers, news, or testimonials, it could give you a rankings boost you can finally see. And finally if you picked up a weird call asking about your prices, that was actually Google, not a scam.
