Staying Calm When Life Gets Chaotic
Life doesn’t wait for us to get everything figured out. Pressure builds. Plans fall apart. People disappoint. And in the middle of it all — we’re still called to lead. Lately, I’ve been reminded that true leadership isn’t proven when things are smooth… it’s revealed when things feel like they’re spinning out of control. When chaos hits, the question isn’t “how do I fix everything?” It’s “who am I becoming in this storm?” As leaders, our calm doesn’t come from having control — it comes from having clarity and trust. Clarity that God is still working in the unseen. Trust that His peace is stronger than the storm around us. “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” — Isaiah 26:3 That verse reminds me that peace isn’t something we chase — it’s something we receive when our focus is steady on Him. Staying calm isn’t passive — it’s powerful. It’s choosing presence over panic, prayer over pressure, and patience over pride. 🪵 Challenge this week: When life starts to feel chaotic, pause before you react. Take one deep breath. Pray. Ask, “What does peace look like right now?” Then lead from that place. 💬 Question for the group: How do you personally stay grounded and calm when life feels chaotic? What helps you return to peace when everything around you feels uncertain?

Matthew 6: 25-34 is probably my favorite passage of scripture because it always reminds me to let go of worry and choose to trust that God always knows and has exactly what I need each day. I can find peace and rest when I remember who I belong to and that He will always come through. Sometimes there will be lean seasons or seasons of testing in our faith, but God promises to be with us through it all.
Faith-Driven Leadership Challenge: Step Out in Faith
I’ve been reminded lately that leadership isn’t about having it all figured out — it’s about trusting God enough to move even when we don’t see the whole path. It’s easy to lead when things are clear and comfortable. But the kind of leadership that actually shapes people — and builds faith — happens when we’re willing to step out even when it doesn’t all make sense. 👉 Here’s the challenge this week: Find one area where God might be calling you to step out in faith. It could be: - Having a conversation you’ve been putting off. - Taking initiative where you’ve been waiting for clarity. - Choosing obedience over comfort. - Letting go of control and trusting God with the outcome. 💬 In the comments: Share where you feel God is calling you to step out, and how you plan to trust Him in it this week. Let’s be the kind of leaders who don’t just talk about faith — but actually live it out.

Lately I’ve been feeling like God is leading me to be more bold in the dating scene and be willing to put myself out there again. So I’m suppose to be going on a date this week and I’m just trusting God with however it turns out.
