Week 2 Update / Accountability
Weighed in this morning at 213.1 lbs, down from 215,6 lbs last Sunday. Commitments this week: 3 Workouts (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) 4 -30-minute cardio sessions (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday). I'm still in my caloric deficit eating 2,000 - 2,200 calories. Last week I did good with staying consistent and eating withing my calories even when my wife made cookies I ate them in moderation and they lasted the whole week when before I would eat them all in 2 days usually. Now aiming to get down to 211 by the end of this week, doing the incline waling at 10 Degrees helps me burn about 300-400 calories in 20-30 minutes.

Need to Lock In
Hey everyone, I’ve been lifting and working out now for years and I’ve had my ups and downs on my journey, especially over the last 3 years. I started at 245lbs at 6ft tall, got down to 210, then gained it back to 235, now I’m back down to 215, but my goal weight is around 200lbs. I’ve been stuck around the 215 mark for the last 3/4 months. I’m trying to eat in a deficit and I generally do well on the weekdays as I eat the same thing about every day, but the weekends it can get away from me. I lift 2-3 times a week, try and walk for 30 minutes after each workout. I need to increase my cardio to help with my deficit, and I need help staying accountable. Any suggestions or anyone want to help me be accountable?

@Mario M nice! I’ll be posting weekly for accountability in here! Weighing in tomorrow after a full week to see where I’m at. Hit 212.5 this morning, down 3lbs from last week.

Weekly Accountability
Second post in the group. I am starting this week at 215.6 lbs on Sunday and I am aiming to get down to 200 lbs in the next 2 months. So my commitments this week are: 3 lifts and 3 30-minute cardio sessions. Posting physique pictures as well for weekly updates.

@Michael Shalometh-Molina Thank you! And they do help as the scale does not always say everything! I am going to workout Wednesday, Thursday or Friday and then Saturday. Cardio session for tonight as I will be home late.

Weight loss
After 1 week of walking and eating health I gained 2.3 lbs. Maybe I can be a whale by this time next year.

Eating healthy doesn’t matter so much if you are still eating in a surplus. Do you know how many calories you are eating per day? And what the macros are? And do you know what the calories should be for your weight loss goal (if that is your goal). Also one week doesn’t dictate everything, but if you see this continue for the next 3-4 weeks then it is time to re-access and make changes.

@Kris Leek Fasting is only good if you still don't overeat. What you could do is use MyFitnessPal and just track what you eat, it is really simple. I eat the same thing for breakfast and lunch everyday and as you learn how much calories are in the meals and food you eat you'll get a better understanding of what to avoid, or how much to eat, etc. Macros being protein, carbs and fats are the main 3 I would focus on.
