@Sylvie Calderon Sylvie!! šŸ™Œ So good to see you in here — and what a time to take your L1 šŸ˜‚ COVID seminars built a different kind of coach. Respect. It was an absolute pleasure having you at the L2 in Reno. You brought great energy, humility, and a clear desire to get better — which is honestly the foundation of elite coaching. The fact that you’re already focused on sharpening your eye and refining tactile cueing tells me you’re thinking at a high level. Gymnastics is such a powerful lane to specialize in. It exposes everything — timing, positions, tension, awareness. If you really lean into developing your observation skills there, it will elevate every other domain you coach. And coaching while being a mom and grandma? STUD. Your athletes are lucky to have someone who understands both performance and life. Excited to see you continue to grow in here. Don’t hesitate to post videos, questions, breakdowns — that’s how we all level up. Let’s go šŸ‘Š
FREE NUTRITION GUIDE
This is the roadmap I use with new nutrition clients. It’s not meant to be followed rigidly or without adjustment — it’s a guide. It helps the client understand where we are, where we’re headed, and what the next right step looks like. It also keeps the coach aligned and intentional, so we’re always moving forward with purpose toward your goals. I hope it gives you clarity and direction as you start your journey.

A NEW WAY TO PRESENT WARM UPS / WORKOUTS
If you’ve taken your Level 1 or Level 2, you already know the Tell–Show–Do–Check model. But here’s what we add: šŸ‘‰ FOCUS. After you tell them what to do… give them one clear focus point. One thing. One intention. One lens for the workout. This completely changes how you coach warm-ups, prep sets, and even cool downs. Instead of rambling cues… Instead of over-coaching… Instead of correcting 7 things at once… You anchor the athlete. Clear mind. Clear task. Clear improvement. This is how you move from ā€œclass instructorā€ to actual coach. Breakdown is inside. Let me know what you’d add šŸ‘‡

Ring transitions coaches eye
Here’s the breakdown from the video I posted earlier. If you haven’t watched the original yet, go back and see how many faults you can catch before watching this breakdown. šŸ‘€ Developing your coach’s eye is a skill—and it only gets sharper with reps.
