SQL Server Mirroring
Anyone have an issue with SQL server mirroring not working? We had to truncate some log files in the source SQL database and the mirroring in Fabric stopped working. It would no longer catch changes and adds. I stopped and restarted replication in Fabric as well as the cdc in the source database. Now I get an error that SQL server agent needs to be on. It already is.

Deployment pipelines useless?
Am I missing something with deployment pipelines? They seem to work with very few objects in Fabric. I am developing a Fabric environment with a Lakehouse, Warehouse, Copy Jobs, Pipelines, mirrored databases, etc. and when I try to promote from my dev to test (and prod) workspaces I end up having to manually recreate everything. Very few things actually deploy nicely. Other than the built in "comparison" screen, which is nice, it seems like a waste of time.

FYI - I am familiar with the variable libraries and how they work in connection with deployment pipelines.

@Will Needham Thanks for the response! I always appreciate your insight. But that's kind of what I mean. I have to do all the ddl anyway, so I'm struggling to see the value. As you mentioned, data pipelines, dataflows and notebook seem like the only real deployment objects (when you use variables).

❓ How are you using Variable Libraries? (If at all!)
Hey community! Are you using the Variable Library in Fabric?! I'm doing some research for a future YouTube video, and it would be great to open up a bit of a discussion around how you're using them so far, considering they are now Generally Available! What use cases are you using them for? Any tips to share about how you set them up? Or perhaps you're using the REST API endpoints for variable libraries for more advanced use cases? Any experience, big or small, would be useful to know about - so please share below! 👇👇👇

I tried to use them for my Copy Job connections but they don't seem to work there unfortunately. (I'm referring to the Copy Job item not the Copy data activity in pipelines.) Major let down!

@Will Needham Thanks for the update. Don't know if it's going to be in time for the Fabric implementation I'm working on, but I'll definitely be keeping an eye out!
