Opening of my Mind
What am I lying to myself about? This has been such an awakening to me, to ask the question within, without judgement and with full openess and truly listen to the answer and reflect on its impact. It's been so insightful and the self awareness is abstract at the moment. It's a strange feeling and only the beginning!! I usually journal and wanted to ask if any of you use any questions to support this for yourself that you can share? Be Legend. Wajid.
New coaches, a suggestion
New coaches, I'm sharing this with you because I've heard these doubts too often, and I've faced them myself. I hope these will encourage you to move forward more confidently in your coaching career. These insights are not just for the established; they're vital for you starting out: 1) Avoid Coaching for Free: • Always charge SOMETHING. This establishes a value exchange. • You'll feel more appreciated and motivated knowing you're earning. Your clients, too, will value and commit to the process more because they've invested financially. • Start with a few ‘trial’ clients where their repayment for your coaching is a testimonial used to establish credibility. Don’t stay here too long. • Coaching far too long and not being comfortable charging for services stems from feeling unworthy to charge – in this example, not charging devalues what you offer. • Seasoned coaches understand this balance of value, and it's a lesson to embrace early in your career. 2) Steer Clear of Hourly Charging: • Hourly rates aren't effective. • We cannot create value in one-off sessions (unless you have a specialized skill such as NLP or hypnosis where one or two sessions suffice) as transformation doesn’t happen overnight. • Instead create a 2-month, 3-month, or 4-package or offering or group program. • Begin with lower rates, increasing them gradually with every 4-5 clients as your confidence grows, a strategy seasoned coaches often use. • Coach 3 or 4 sessions per month for 30-60 minutes. 3) A Website Isn't a Must (initially): • Don't get stalled by the absence of a website. • Many successful coaches started with just a basic page, and some of my clients have never even visited my website. • Focus on coaching quality over online presence, just as many experienced coaches have realized. • While a website can be a good lead generator, you can build it out as you enroll and coach clients. 4) Have a Solid Contract: • Ensure you have a strong contract with clear legal boundaries. • It’s essential for both your protection and that of your clients.

Better late than never. Manage expectations, establish value through confidence and quality. Scaleable is payable.
Over the moon excited about COA
I’ve invested a crap ton of money on programs, courses and coaches. I’ve learned about all the pieces of the online puzzle and as smart as I know I am, I still was not able to pull everything together to scale my business the way I knew I could/should. 3 modules into COA and I’m giddy because I see that FINALLY, I’m where I needed to land. $30-$50k invested that did not yield the results was only to get me here, in this program right now. This is going to be IT. I feel it. I’m glad I never gave up. Guys/gals, DON’T give up!! It’s as if I’ve spent years going on bad dates and was feeling so discouraged of ever finding ‘THE ONE’. Well, after just 3 short module dates, I have a feeling about this one. He speaks my language, cuts through the crap, discusses all the topics I need to know and understand, knows what he’s doing and has a track record to prove it. I think he’s the ONE 😂😂 If I wasn’t so darn tired I’d jump into the next module right away. I can’t wait to be in the league of 10%!! “When the dream you have had is so strong that it won’t let go of you, know that it is your soul calling you forward. Never stop figuring out how to make it so. You were born to manifest it!”

Working on my certification and as Ed says, systems are scalable and that's what I'm looking for. A solid system that opens up opportunities to help and change people's lives with impact.
100 questions for coaches attached inside
it is going to be a long post. if you just want access to the questions, just download the attachment. if you are starting out or a seasoned coach, this might be helpful for you. after going through Ed's methodology and what I learnt from the book "change your question, change your life." which is a great book for coaches. i have developed 100 questions for the 4 steps in the expert coaching transformation guide. Here is the 100 with some bonus questions. if you are a new coach starting out and need help starting or to open your clients up. i suggest you read the book - change your questions, change your life by Marilee Adams also based on the book, i have align my questions to ED's 4 step process/4 pillars: 1. diagnose the problem 2. break the beliefs 3. retrain the behaviours/beliefs that caused the problem 4. compound the daily behaviours that keep building the transformative behaviours. i have 100 questions that i developed and used with my own sessions for you to to adapt and use. Read through them and pick and chose for your own sessions and adapt them if you need. i have also created a word document attached to this post. but it is the same as this post. 100 questions "Change Your Questions, Change Your Life: 10 Powerful Tools for Life and Work" by Marilee Adams is a book that introduces the concept of Question Thinking as a transformative approach to personal and professional development. The book emphasizes the idea that the questions we ask ourselves and others have a profound impact on our thoughts, emotions, and actions. By shifting from a "Judger" mindset to a "Learner" mindset and asking empowering questions, individuals can enhance their problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and overall well-being. Top 10 insights from "Change Your Questions, Change Your Life": 1. Question Thinking Paradigm: The book introduces the concept of Question Thinking, emphasizing the transformative power of asking the right questions to shift perspectives and outcomes.

Exact steps for Certification Process -UPDATED
Many have contacted me asking how to complete this process, so I thought I would lay it out here, step-by-step, in hopes it might help everyone. Ed has created a video outlining the steps, which I will summarize below https://www.skool.com/lifecoachcertificationfree/classroom/8ba4b069?md=023fc73b2bb14a25ba0bb47e14264f32. Here are THE STEPS: Send an email to 'Ed@championacademy.co.uk" containing the following: (since it is highly unlikely that you will be able to send your video via email due to size restrictions, I suggest creating a Google folder, adding these items there, and then sending the link to that folder). 1. A recording of ONE of your coaching sessions: (NOTE: This can be a video or audio - they are evaluating your coaching skills, which come through your language. There is no requirement on length - whether it's 30 minutes or 90 minutes does not matter). UPDATE: If your primary language is something OTHER than English, contact Ed's team at the email above to inquire if you can submit your coaching session in your native language. 2. A completed copy of the Coaching Assessment document (See attached) of your assessment of that coaching session. (NOTE: This is a SELF-ASSESSMENT where you assess the coaching session you are submitting. This requires NO ONE other than yourself. You submit this form, COMPLETED, with your coaching call.) 3. A completed Coaching Academy feedback form (See attached). 4. An acknowledgment that you have completed all the modules (They can check this behind the scenes so they already know if you did or did not complete them) 5. NOTHING ELSE NEEDS TO BE SUBMITTED. Your completion of your "tasking" is accepted on an honor system - they trust you are doing it, and you do not need to submit it. - NOTE: Most videos are too long to send via email - for that reason, I created a Google folder containing all the above and sent them the link to that folder (with access rights) in the email. - The coaching Assessment document is an Excel spreadsheet where you rate how well YOU covered each of the steps outlined in the spreadsheet. This is your best guess at how well you did and what you can improve upon. I don't believe they are looking for perfection, as we are always improving our skills. - UPDATE: many have asked if you need to demonstrate ALL the distinctions covered in the Expert Coach training. I think that would be a challenge to do - based on the self-assessment form, these are the skills you DO need to be able to demonstrate: 1)Creates introduction that is focused and engages the client. 2) Poise and confidence. 3) Pacing of speech. 4) Conveys ideas with originality and clarity 5) Addresses short-term goals 6) Addresses long-term goals 7) Responds to questions
