Too many people want to brag about “working” 12 hours a day instead of getting results. #2 - Live in the future Picture what your dream life will be like every day. What car are you gonna drive? How will the leather on the steering wheel feel? What are your friends gonna say when you pull up in a $100k sports car? Visualize down to every last detail and think about this as much as possible. #3 - Avoid overlearning The enemy of action is over-complication… You could watch 100 copywriting videos, But do you really think you’ll land clients if you never start outreach? Hope you’re doing well. How’s the year starting for you so far? Quick value drop for the copywriters in here. YES, the ones currently overthinking that sentence 😅. There’s an app I’ve been using lately called NotebookLM and it’s been very useful for learning and sharpening my skills, especially with outreach. The way I use it - is pretty simple. It feels less like “reading” and more like listening to a podcast or being in a small classroom. There are two different voices, so it almost feels like a discussion instead of a monologue. What I usually do is this: After I've watched one of Tyson’s videos. I take the YouTube URL paste it into the app, and then start listening to it. - You can ask questions. - You can disagree. - You can go back and forth like you’re debating with two students in a class. It’s solid for learning during downtime, especially after you’ve finished work and don’t feel like staring at another screen. You just listen, ask questions, and refine your thinking.
