Everything the enemy stole through comparison, rejection, and a hard marriage season is being RESTORED in Jesus name!! (Joel 2:25) ⏬️⏬️ WHEN DID YOU STOP SHOWING UP FOR YOURSELF? Most wives in hard marriages have been so focused on fixing the relationship that they completely neglected the person inside the relationship. They stopped doing what brought them joy. They stopped pursuing what God placed in them before the marriage. They stopped showing up for themselves because showing up for everyone else became priority. And slowly — without even realizing it — they disappeared. Proverbs 4:23 — "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life." (KJV) Everything that flows out of you — into your marriage, into your home, into your husband — comes out of YOUR heart first. A neglected heart produces a depleted wife. A depleted wife produces a struggling marriage. Because you can't pour from an empty cup. The question is not always what your husband needs to do differently. The question is — when did YOU stop keeping your own heart? Happy & Blessed Tuesday, Godly Wives!! 🌸 I declare and decree that every false identity the enemy has layered over you is being STRIPPED AWAY today!! You will know who God created you to be and walk in it without apology in Jesus name!! (Psalm 139:14) ⏬️⏬️ THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE — INTIMACY WITH SELF Last week we established that intimacy with God has to come first. You cannot pour from an empty cup. But here is what most wives discover when they start getting filled by God — they realize they do not actually know themselves very well. They know who they are as a mother. They know who they are as an employee. They know who they are as a wife. But who are they when nobody needs anything from them? The reality is — a wife who does not know herself will lose herself in her marriage. She will shrink to keep the peace. She will give until there's nothing left. She will look up one day and not recognize the woman in the mirror. And she will blame her husband or circumstances for it. Psalm 139:14 — "I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well." (KJV) That my soul knoweth right well. Does YOUR soul(mind, will, and emotions) know it? Or has the weight of a hard marriage made you forget what God placed inside you? This week is not about your husband at all. It is about YOU. 📝 THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE: Every day this week sit with this one question: Who am I — outside of my role as a wife, a mother, and an employee? Not who I used to be. Not who I wish I was. Who did GOD create me to be? It is harder than it sounds. Spend this week in His presence, reflecting on it. ✅️ Comment "I AM FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE" in Jesus name! Happy & Blessed Monday, Godly Wives!! 🌸 As we move into Intimacy (with Self) tomorrow, I declare and decree that the secret place with God is becoming your HOME!! You will dwell there — not visit — and your marriage will feel the overflow of God's love and the fruit of His Spirit in Jesus name!! (Psalm 91:1, Galatians 5:22) ⏬️⏬️ MONDAY RESET — FILLED BEFORE YOU POUR Your marriage does not just need a better version of you. It needs an OVERFLOWING version of you. And overflow only comes from one place — time invested in the secret place with your Heavenly Father. When you are full of Him (His love, His joy, His peace, His patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self control ) you speak differently. You respond differently. You love differently. You see your husband differently. Not because your circumstances changed first. But because YOU changed. From the inside out. 📝 Pray This: Lord, I repent for trying to love my husband and children from an empty cup. I repent for making You my last resort instead of my first love. As I continue to seek Your face through Your Word, I ask you to Fill me to overflowing. Let what You pour in be so much that my husband, my children, and everyone I come in contact with cannot help but feel the difference. In Jesus name I pray. As an Educator with my background in ELA, I naturally use different strategies to dissect what I'm reading for deeper understanding, but I find that the S.O.A.P method is a powerful strategy for those who start reading the Word and are unsure where or how to gain deeper understanding. Of course, always invite Holy Spirit to speak to you through His Word. Then this helps... S: Scripture( 1 verse or chapter) O: Observation( key takeaway; meaning in your own words) A: Application (how it applies to your life, marriage etc) P: Prayer (pray the word/ specific verse aloud) because the Kingdom of God is voice activated
