WHEN DID YOU STOP SHOWING UP FOR YOURSELF?
Most wives in hard marriages have been so focused on fixing the relationship that they completely neglected the person inside the relationship.
They stopped doing what brought them joy.
They stopped pursuing what God placed in them before the marriage.
They stopped showing up for themselves because showing up for everyone else became priority.
And slowly — without even realizing it — they disappeared.
Proverbs 4:23 — "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life." (KJV)
Everything that flows out of you — into your marriage, into your home, into your husband — comes out of YOUR heart first.
A neglected heart produces a depleted wife.
A depleted wife produces a struggling marriage.
Because you can't pour from an empty cup.
The question is not always what your husband needs to do differently.
The question is — when did YOU stop keeping your own heart? Because that's not his responsibility.
