Yes, they're very uncommon, so there's not many people with these. We have some spa clients who use Scandia propane heaters and they're pretty happy about them.
Issue with temperature difference inside sauna.
Hello guys πŸ‘‹ β€” Would appreciate your perspective on the issue described in the video attached. Thank you so much for the help!

Hmm, basically all manufacturers have different guidelines for temperature sensor placement. According to my understanding, the sensors are not calibrated to account for any heat difference between directly above the heater and on the other site of the sauna. I would try and move the sensor on the opposite wall. Just like Tom said, try it at first with some temporary solution, then install it there permanently if that works. It's not that the heaters couldn't go above 195, it's the UL safety listing that requires manufacturers to place the sensor there and limit the heater to 195. We don't sell Finnleo, but there's probably an overheating limiter inside the heater itself, so your heater should be fine regardless. Ventilation seems to be correctly done, I wouldn't be worried about that. Keep the upper exhaust vent (called 'drying' vent) mostly closed when going to the sauna, it's apparently meant just for drying after sauna going and will leak some heat out. Air should flow nicely with just the vent next to the heater and the one under the sauna benches being open.

@Alberto Horihuela What size unit is this? It's easier to first see if you can get some kind of a small fan to see if it helps. Then if not and you're ready to change the unit all together, get a bigger unit from HUUM to make sure it deliveres! You can contact us if it comes to that and we can hook you up with a deal, but maybe try the fan first. On one hand what I'm thinking is that what is the worse thing that can happen if you move the sensor, but I won't recommend against the manufacturer πŸ˜…
Lumber
Hello! Does anyone have experience with ordering wood/materials from online sauna companies instead of local lumber mills? I'm getting into a bit of a time crunch. I received a quote from a local lumber place in western Michigan but their time to delivery was a bit too long. I'm hoping to find someone online that can take the order and deliver quickly. Any ideas or previous experience? Thank you!

@Joe Hoback Thanks Joe! I can see that the team did put in the request on Monday in to central warehouse on Monday morning and we noted it's urgent. Hopefully we can get back to you today.

@Tom Mooney Yes, especially Leisurecraft has been crazy slow in this case and it's driving me nuts as well...

@Stefan Krueger That's a great book!
Barrel sauna ventilation
I have a barrel sauna, with a full diameter glass wall behind the electric heater. I have upper and lower ventilation ports on the entry wall, opposite to the heater. Air exchange is ok, but I am wondering if it can be improved further. Based on info here and elsewhere, a low vent port behind the heater would be the final addition, but that's impossible with the glass wall. I am thinking about putting a vent on the floor just to the left of the heater, red spot on the attached pic. I guess it wouldn't do harm, since i will be able to close it if need be. Thoughts?
