Why People Get Stuck on T-Shirt Quilts — and What We Fix Here 🧵 Most T-shirt quilts stall out for one reason: people don’t know what to decide first. They start cutting shirts before understanding block size. They choose layouts that don’t fit the number of shirts they have. They follow tutorials without knowing how each step affects the finished quilt top. That leads to wasted shirts, uneven layouts, quilt tops that don’t finish well — or projects that get abandoned. The Quilting Corner: exists to solve that. This community focuses on: 🧭 The correct order of decisions for a T-shirt quilt 📐 Planning block size, layout, and materials so they work together 🧵 Understanding what matters early — and what can wait ❓ Getting direct answers that move a quilt top forward Why learn this here? Because I’m a longarm quilter who finishes T-shirt quilts. I see what works — and what causes problems — at the end of the process. I teach planning first so your quilt top comes together cleanly and confidently. If your goal is to get a T-shirt quilt top done right, this space was built for you. The only place where T-shirt & memory quilts are planned with clarity, care, and confidence — before a single cut is made. 👉 CTA If you have a pile of shirts and a lot of questions, you’re welcome here. Join us in The Quilting Corner and start planning with confidence:

@Iris van der Stelt thank you so much for all the clarifying questions it is helping me so much. Pain statement Quilters are stuck because they care too much to rush. They’re afraid of making a decision they can’t undo, so the quilt stays unfinished. Why me: I help them because I see the entire quilting journey—from the first decision to the finished quilt—and I teach planning and clarity first, so nothing important gets lost along the way.

🎉 Posting Party Begins on Monday - Are You In???
It's been awhile since I hosted a posting prompt party, so I thought this would be a great time to get all our new members involved as well as stir up some of you that are maybe feeling a bit uninspired. Starting on Monday, I will post a prompt for you to respond to. The party will culminate with a live meet up of the PERSONALS on Friday! 🎉 Rules of Engagement: 1. Have fun with it and don't overthink it! 2. Be careful about WHERE to post. I will let you know if you should post in the comments or in a new thread. 3. For every post you make, leave at least 2 comments on other people's posts. 4. Try to make thoughtful comments and/or ask questions. This is a great opportunity to build relationships and get to know each other - a crucial skill in business. Gifs are fun, but are not considered a comment by themselves. 😉 Are you up for it? Give me a sign in the comments below and then have a great weekend!
