🚨 Most Athletes Are Training Hard… But Not Training Smart
The biggest mistake I see athletes make isn’t a lack of effort. It’s having no system. ❌ Random workouts❌ No recovery plan❌ Poor nutrition habits❌ No progression tracking The athletes who improve the fastest have a clear roadmap. That’s exactly why I built TrackStar Fitness—to give athletes the tools, programs, and coaching they need to perform at a higher level. If you’re serious about:✅ Getting faster✅ Building strength & power✅ Improving recovery✅ Looking and performing like an athlete Check out everything here: https://agent-6a247c42752ce9d66b2bc5f--trackstar-fitness.netlify.app/#contact Comment “GOAL” below and tell me what you’re working toward this summer.

4x1 Relay
This was my relay that ran 46.6 at my league finals which is kinda slow. I don’t know if that is fast for frosh soft but I am in lane 5 first leg. I feel like when I got into the exchange zone I slowed down too much. Any tips so I can make var 4x1 again? Because I made var 4x1 earlier in the season but my coach shut down 4x1 relay for like 2 months 😭💔

From what I can see, your first leg actually got out pretty decent. A little choppy in a few spots, but nothing major. The bigger issue looks like the outgoing runner needed more steps. You ended up running up on him before the exchange, which forced you to slow down entering the zone. That’s not really on you that’s more of a relay mark/timing issue. Keep working on your acceleration and make sure your outgoing runner is getting out aggressively enough so you’re receiving and giving the baton at full speed.

And as for the varsity question, a 46.6 isn’t slow for a freshman/sophomore group at all.could it be way faster yes but Whether you make varsity depends on how strong your school’s relay team is, but plenty of schools would consider that competitive. Keep improving your individual speed and cleaning up the exchanges. Relay teams can drop a lot of time just from better baton passes, so don’t get discouraged by this race.
