Who else has gotten gray hairs trying to figure out who you SHOULD serve? What if it's about who we WANT to serve? (I know, basic, right?) But, not so basic when one is worried about failing to walk the path God wants you to walk. So here's another basic thing I easily forget... God loves us. He wants us to multiply our talents and to have joy. That sounds a lot more like WANT rather than SHOULD...right? And if that's true... then who we should serve is who we want to serve. Do your should and want align? For me, change is coming...

Let’s start on the same page. Faith is a belief or confidence in something you cannot see. It’s not limited to the religious or spiritual. In business it shows up as a vision, or in your ability to coach people or do a high level of work worthy of the price you charge. And I tell you what, when my confidence is strong the work is easy. Writing posts, answering questions, doing webinars, producing for clients, doing deep coaching. Boom - it all lines up. But that’s not always the case, is it? (At least not for anyone I’ve ever met). So what happens? A single doubt works its way and then multiplies. Doubt becomes fear and all the “what ifs” start bombarding us. It is a battle. And one we can win as we acknowledge and focus on our faith rather than our fears. That hope can become a guiding light in entrepreneurship. It can offer peace, direction, and ethical grounding in the often tumultuous world of business.
