Isn't this group supposed for Maestro Students Only? Is it open and free for EVERYONE to join? I am not sure I am comfortable with non Maestro Students being in here.

Hopefully the admins stay on top of moderation so it does not turn into random spam.

I am so glad to be on this breath of fresh air of a course; I definitely needed a break from coding and JavaScript! 😭😂

Enjoy the break while it lasts. Writing essays might be its own headache, but at least your code is not throwing syntax errors every five minutes.
One thing I’ve learned about studying coding is that understanding a lesson and actually applying it are two very different things
Sometimes I understand the tutorial, then get stuck when I try building something on my own. I’d use chatgpt.com to work through confusing concepts, github.com to save my projects, and floment.ai to keep track of small tasks and what I’ve already accomplished. Breaking things into smaller steps makes learning feel less overwhelming. What helps you stay consistent when a coding or AI topic gets difficult?

FE102 - Building Interactive UI's - Study Guide
Hello! For anyone that has taken or will be taking FE102 - Building Interactive UI's... I have a study guide that I used various tools to create (Claude and Gemini) based on notes that I took during each lesson. It is a comprehensive study guide for all 4 weeks of lessons. I have individual weekly ones as well, but they are not as in depth as this compilation. I know how hard this course was for me, so, if there is anyone that would like the study guide, please let me know and I can email it to you. 🙂

Putting together a full 4-week guide from Claude and Gemini outputs is a lifesaver, especially with how fast frontend concepts pile up in FE102. The hardest part with massive study guides is usually breaking them down so you aren't trying to absorb all four weeks in one sitting. I keep the code snippets in GitHub, pull quick explanations from Claude, and organize the weekly practice to dos in Floment AI. It makes tackling the heavier React exercises a lot less intimidating.
Something that's helped me a lot with coding is separating "I don't understand this yet" from "I need to finish this today" 😅
I've been using chatgpt.com when I need something explained differently, github.com for keeping my code/projects organized, and floment.ai for breaking what I'm learning into smaller tasks so I can actually see the progress. Way less overwhelming than staring at an entire project wondering where to start. What do you guys usually do when you're completely stuck on something?
