An Easier way to get Clients......
Many beginner copywriters struggle with getting clients. They outreach and outreach and outreach but nobody replies. Don't get me wrong. outreach is the fundamental step for getting clients. But what if there's a way that can ease up your efforts? PERSONAL BRANDING. Personal Branding is showcasing your expertise, your growth, even your failures. But how does it help you get clients? When you post about your expertise, you automatically make yourself an expert in that particular niche or industry. which makes your potential client choose you over others. BUT WHERE DO YOU BUILD YOUR PERSONAL BRAND? As a Copywriter, You should focus on writing-based social platforms. Linkedin and X are currently the top-performing platforms for written content. These platforms are full of entrepreneurs and business owners. NOW, HOW DO YOU BUILD A PERSONAL BRAND? No.1 CHANGE YOUR BIO. People do not care about what you do. They care about what you can do FOR THEM. Your bio should clearly state what you can do for your potential client. And do NOT try to make your bio or any content 'smart' or 'clever'. You must keep it simple. For example, you can say.... I help SAAS companies increase their opt-in rate I help coaches nurture their email list. Etc. after that, you are going to post. BUT WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO POST? 1. Do NOT post about marketing tips or sales tricks etc. 2. In your post, answer the questions a potential client may ask you. 3. discuss the process of your work. 4. Showcase your client's success. So, basically you are going to post content that will help your potential clients, not your fellow copywriters. Personal branding also helps you practice your copywriting in public where you can get instant feedback on your writing. When your are building a personal brand your are also building an audience. which can't hurt you, it's only going to help you. That's all I had to say.
