Harris Tweed Herringbone overcoat and a 1956 Champ Kasmir finish Fedora I had restored by Mclaughlin & Hayes in Milwaukee. A Champ fedora was on the same level as Stetson and Dobbs. Not in the same ballpark as a Borsalino but worn by most American business men of the era

So Thursday I finished my cardiac rehab. This past February I had quadruple bypass surgery and honestly have been reborn. My life has improved in about 1000 different ways and I have lost enough weight that my wardrobe needs an Almost complete overhaul. :). Without getting preachy, please take good care of yourself. I found all this out through my annual physical and escaped what was likely a fatal cardiac event. I want us all to live long and wear great clothes!!!! Be well my friends.

In what once upon a time used to only be baseball and trucker style caps 🧢 I have moved on to different styles that better suit the way I now dress. There are three flat caps on the left, my packable fedora is next, my new Hamden, the Boater, then a Bowler that I will need to replace as not only is is small it is more a costume piece (thankfully it didn’t cost me anything as I have expiring vouchers and point a to use and took a chance) and finally my Pennywise Trucker that is full of memories. Hopefully I will have a new proper bowler before I need it for an outfit

I am wearing cream chinos with a light blue shirt with darker blue stripes with a light brown db waist coat, burgundy double monks, a yellow paisley tie and a brown linen newsboy cap.
